Khublei, Bonjour, Namaste
I am Bernard Nongpoh, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. My research interests lie at the intersection of systems, software security, program analysis, and approximate computing — with a current focus on fuzzing, vulnerability discovery, and secure systems software.
Previously, I was a Staff Engineer with the QPSI (Product Security) team at Qualcomm, Hyderabad, and before that a Post-Doctorate Researcher at CEA LIST, University of Paris-Saclay, France, where I was a member of the BINSEC Team headed by Sébastien Bardin and supervised by Michaël Marcozzi. I completed my Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya under the guidance of Dr. Rajarshi Ray and Dr. Ansuman Banerjee. You can read my Ph.D. thesis on Approximate Computing.
My hometown is in Meghalaya, India.
Prospective Students
I am looking for motivated M.Tech and Ph.D. students interested in systems security, fuzzing, program analysis, operating systems, and compilers. If that sounds like you, please get in touch via email.
